Biography
Laurie Kwo paints in the space between control and chaos. Her abstract paintings are built through responding, covering, revealing and starting again, trusting instinct over certainty and truth over perfection.
Based in Evanston, just outside Chicago, Kwo's work is held in private and commercial collections nationally, anchored by a 34-piece permanent installation at The Lydian in Chicago. She is represented by The Collective Dallas, Rennie Art Company, Spoonbill Gallery, Jones and Jeffries Gallery and Lyons Share Gallery.
She is a licensed artist with Wendover Art Group and has sold work on Anthropologie Home.
